There are four sacred elements in the world for the Zoroastrians; fire, water, earth, and air. They never burn a body when they die, they never bury them in the earth, they never draw them in the water. What did they do with dead bodies? In this tour, we are going to visit a burial and ceremonial place for Zoroastrians in Yazd. Towers of silence or what it is called in Frasi as "Dakhmeh" are towers used by the believers of this very ancient religion as a burial place. The towers built on top of the hills and far from the towns, where vultures play the role to keep the respect of those sacred elements. If you want to know more about this religion, it is recommended please first join the Zoroastrians Fire Temple in Yazd.

The second trip if the day was really interesting and Leila was professional throughout. Sadly the earlier trip was beset with technical problems so I will choose not to review that one. Thank you for this afternoon
