Meet Mufasa

Bahati is an excellent guide in Tanzania - he sends us to amazing places for the experiences of a lifetime - whether it be visiting a Massai Village in the bush, seeing amazing history in Zanzibar including hand carved doorways, beautiful scents and colors of the spice market on the ""Spice Island"", swimming with the dolphins and finishing with a local fresh caught fish and chips dinner... He is the master at finding wildlife in the Ngorogoro Crater and giving me the experience of driving the land rover through the Serengeti with the wildebeast and zebra crisscrossing the road in front of us.... he loves telling us about the birds we spot along the way and amuses with stories of the areas we are seeing. I'm looking forward to the experiences he will be adding to HeyGo/Virtual Tours!!!-- Karibu Tanzania.

Mufasa and Ali packed such a lot into this tour and nobody wanted to leave at the end. A colourful and charming town. The guides had put a lot of thought into showing us the different sides to the culture. Recommend this tour!

This tour was absolutely fantastic. I would have done the tour on Saturday as well but I had something on. I look forward to more tours from Mufasa.

Interesting and enjoyable tour, however Mufasa needs to keep to the advertised time of his tour. There was SO much to cover it could have been covered in at least 2 tours; however there was a lot of time wasting: changing clothes, having a drink in the hotel…… not really necessary. I did find the quiet chatting between Mufasa and his helper very distracting: had my sound level dropped and I was missing some information?

Mufusa put together another well planned brilliant tour which started with a boat tour to Zanzibar. Gorgeous crystal clear waters! We toured the area most artsy locations, and he showed us some beautiful fruits as he explained to us what they were. He showed us the hotel and we were introduced to a local who took over the tour while Mufasa changed into traditional attire. Mufasa returned. From the choral sounds from the old chapel to the festive music on the beach, it was a lovely tour that took us to the gorgeous sunset that started the second part of the nighttime tour! Loved it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Now there were a few distracting, entitled, miserable debbie downers on the tour that if they took the same time to read the description of the tour that they took up complaining in the chat box would know the itinerary. There were more than 150 people on the tour and one entitled person asked if Mufasa could go back inside of a boutique so she could take a picture of a shirt!!!

This is one of the best tours I have been on. The enthusiastic and charming Mufasa showed us just about everything there is to see in Zanzibar in just one tour. His passion for the island shone through. Great to be in contact with the natives and not only be shown tourist sites. Fantastic.
