Take a cruise along Melbourne's Yarra river and venture out into Port Philip Bay. The Williamstown Ferry begins in the city at Southbank Promenade then meanders past the Melbourne Central Business District with its 19th Century sailing ship, the Southgate Arts and Leisure Precinct, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Crown Entertainment Complex, Docklands and Docklands Stadium, and the World Congress and Trade Centre. Scoot under the bridges to shipping channels and discover one of the busiest trading ports in the Southern hemisphere. Our ferry will enter the Bay to arrive at the early colonial settlement of Wiliamstown with its stunning waterfront bay views overlooking the coastal waters.
Susanna is an avid reader of historical detective novels, a radio producer, civil celebrant, over-worked grandmother and, for fun, she reconstructs Ancient Roman recipes. For over 30 years she taught adults, particularly women, in the technical aspects of radio broadcasting and film production, or how to get out there and just do it. She's also been a social worker, a consulting psychologist, stage actor and barmaid. Susanna is a proud descendant of 19th century convicts, republicans and revolutionaries and still wants to be a time-traveller.
