About the tour

Perhaps one of the most unique towns in the world, Alberobello has been the first of the towns in Puglia to be added to the historical patrimony of UNESCO. The conical-shaped houses found in this town are more than a thousand years old and are knowns as TRULLI. The Trulli of Alberobello represents a dry-stone building tradition found across the Mediterranean region. The Trulli are made of flat limestones collected from neighboring fields or excavated on-site in the process of creating sub-floor cisterns for the collection of rainwater. Walking through this town will feel like a fairytale!

Antimo is more than a guide, he is a true modern renaissance man! He has many gifts and passions and those who know him speak of his energy as infectious. Antimo is Italian and speaks six languages fluently, he is a chef and a wellness buff among other things. While on a virtual tour with Antimo you might be lead into a wonderful mediation!

What to expect

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

This was my first tour with Antimo and everything he taught us was something I never knew. He gave us great postcard shots and did his best responding to the chat. He even gave us an exclusive look into a resident's garden. It was a really cool tour and I'm glad I was able to catch it before he has to leave Italy!
