About the tour

Join me on a virtual tour in a Kwagon village which is full of serenity and peace. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and air pollution, you will be presented with views of beautiful rice fields and stunning natural scenery then learn every process of how rice grows until it is ready to be harvested. The philosophy of rice, the more it contains, the more it bent, shows the friendly character of the locals who will greet you with their big smile during this tour. Farming, producing bricks and tiles are the main professions in this village. Watching them work among the lush trees accompanied by the sound of water flowing and the chirping of birds shows us the modesty of village life. Their simplicity and tradition are their strength to live a meaningful life. Let's explore this beautiful village on my Livestream walking and biking tour. I will show you the rice fields, the fish farm, the local mosque and even the cemetery, the native plants, and the irrigation canal system which is very important for the farmer. Feel free to ask me questions and also greet the locals that could be a good opportunity to learn some local dialects. Looking forward to sharing this life in the village with you.

Meet Sang Pramuwisata

Sang Pramuwisata

My name is Mukhlas which means sincere, and I love to do everything sincerely and with all my heart. In Bahasa Indonesia, Sang Pramuwisata means the tour guide. I love to show you the beauty of my country. I live in Yogyakarta, a city that is full of heritages, arts and culture, cuisine, and tradition. I have worked in this city as a professional tour guide since 2012. I graduated from Yogyakarta State University, with a major in Literature. With this knowledge, I am well equipped to explain to people about the stories and literature that relate to Yogyakarta, Java, and Indonesia. I love to share everything that this country has to offer!

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Yogyakarta with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Yogyakarta. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
