Valldemossa is a mountain village in the Sierra Tramontana. It is situated 425m high. Only 20 minutes distance from Palma. In the past Valldemossa started to be well-known because travellers were hosted in its Carthusian Monastery. Frèdèric Chopin and Gorge Sand stayed in a cell by the time they came in 1838/39. Today it is a good experience to walk through narrow streets decorated with beautiful pots with plants and flowers. Most of the houses maintain their typical stone façade with Mallorquin blind. Because Valldemossa is the birthplace of Santa Catalina Tomàs her image appears everywhere. Nowadays is a great point to find handcrafts shops and fashion clothes shops. Almond shake or hot chocolate with potato biscuit is the typical local product.
Pilar is from Mallorca and is delighted to help you discover Palma along with other amazing places throughout the island of Mallorca. For more than 20 years Pilar has been an Official Tour Guide in Mallorca. One of the things she likes best about her job is that every day is different, just like the weather. Pilar has worked for many travel agencies and is an expert in managing diverse groups with very different interests and ages. She will give you a special, local authentic experience; let Pilar take you to the authentic places where the Mallorquins go to.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Mallorca with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Mallorca. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

Pilar makes the tours so much fun, she has a great sense of humour and takes care always to show the most interesting and beautiful places. She is very knowledgeable and has a great style. I always manage to get the best postcards too! I loved Mallorca the minute I arrived and these trips keep me going until I can return.
