About the tour

We will go to the village of Garni where we will see a nice and historic pagan temple. The temple was dedicated to the heathen sun God Mitra /Mihr - It’s the only Roman-Greek style pagan temple in Armenia, situated just 30 km beyond the capital Yerevan. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in my country. The temple is surrounded by beautiful mountains and carved by deep cliffs. On the tour we will see a 4th century mosaic, a nice gorge, mountains, and I will be sharing my stories with you )

Meet Khach Mirzoyan

Khach Mirzoyan

Khach's hometown is just 30 km southwest of Yerevan- the capital of Armenia. After graduating highschool he got into the State Pedagogical University of Yerevan and studied in the faculty of history, because he was interested in both the history and culture of Armenia as well as others. Due to this, guiding was just a perfect opportunity to make his wish come true! Khach has been guiding groups of tours in Armenia since 2013, he enjoys his job very much! He has the opportunity to represent his country, give them information and learn a lot from the guests about their own culture and traditions.
