About the tour

See the birthplace of European democracy from the comfort of home! This tour takes in some of London's most famous landmarks, including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. We will also have a look at Westminster Abbey, which is where our kings and queens have been married, crowned and buried for 1,000 years. Of course, no trip would be complete without a stop by No 10 Downing Street, currently home to our Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

Thank you so much, it felt like we were there in London walking the streets and learning more about the area we have visited in the past. Very well done and very informative! How amazing to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament covered in scaffolding and London awaking to start the day while sitting in our home in Canberra!

My first effort:- Wasted time logging in to the main menu. When I contected I had missed quite a bit of the Video. What I saw was GOOD, picture not very distinct, that might not be anything you could control. Will run it again sometime. Thanks, HELEN

I enjoyed this, but there were quite a few mistakes: e.g. talking about the House of Lords, and then on the other side the Houses of Parliament rather than the House of Commons; and showing the chapel at the east end of Westminster Abbey and describing it as 11th century, whereas in fact it's from the first decade of the 16th century, and there's nothing remaining from the 11th century building. Antony has an engaging personality, but he does need to be more careful!

Good, interesting trip but a bit pixilated at times and also the camera moved a bit too quickly so made me feel a bit dizzy. Anthony is very knowledgeable and interesting though. Thank you.
