About the tour

If walls could talk the stories they could tell. Explore the existing city walls and see how Edinburgh’s medieval Old Town grew within them. Walk the line of the Flodden and Telfer Walls and see the locations where the old city gates stood. Starting in Greyfriar's Burial Ground at the Flodden Wall, passing the site of the Bristo Port, Old Medical School, old Infirmary and down the Vennel. Here you will get one of the best Postcards shots of Edinburgh Castle. See an old defensive tower and end in Edinburgh's famous Grassmarket sitting in the valley below Edinburgh Castle.

I enjoyed learning in such a relaxing manner. I always enjoy any shows about my heritage. I have been to Edinburgh several times but was not familiar with much of the territory Sam covered. Good tour!
