About the tour

Welcome to the World and life of Fernando Pessoa in Lisbon, one of the most famous international Portuguese Poets. Besides Luis Vaz de Camões he was the best, influenced completely the Portuguese poetry during the XX Century. This will be an immersive experience where you learn everything that I know about his life, his work, his behavior, and his esoteric side in Lisbon. I'm going to use music-related with his work and some pieces of his poems to make this virtual trip memorable, some EXTRA BONUS will be waiting for you! You will see locations where he uses to go like Cafe a Brasileira, Bertrand book Shop, Martyrs church where he was baptized, the house in São Carlos square where he was born, the Abel Pereira e Fonseca tavern where he used to drink his wine and Café Martinho da Arcada where he uses to getter with other intellectuals. We will finish our virtual trip in Praca do Comércio contemplating our beautiful Tagus River.

Over the years, he has enjoyed taking people around the cultural and historical sites. Igor enjoys guiding his guests off the beaten track, exploring everything this amazing city has to offer. He has even has partnered with National Geographic in their student expeditions program doing tours for their students in Lisbon. Joining a tour with Igor will allow you to see Lisbon through his eyes, and explore the culture and history in an authentic, funny, and relaxed way. What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Lisbon with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Lisbon. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

I love Lisboa. Cities are not only about the buildings, but also about people. Thanks for introducing Pessoa (I discovered him few years ago when I visited and stayed in Poets Hostel). Good idea to play some music as we walked along. Would be nice to hear some poems as well. All the best. Keep on "inventing" extras for the tours.
