About the tour

Sibiu is considered by many to have the most beautiful and well preserved Old Town of any Transylvanian medieval cities. It will be my pleasure to share with you the rich history of this special place of Romania related to the Saxons who settled here starting with 12th century. We will walk through cobblestone streets discovering the still imposing medieval walls and the still active Lutheran Evangelical Cathedral (14th century), the romantic Large & Small squares surrounded by well preserved historical buildings but also find out the legends of the Liars Bridge and the amazing stories of the Saxons medieval guilds.

Another informative tour about an area I didn’t know much about. He uses maps to help explain things very clearly. Appreciate his efforts to teach us about this beautiful area. Hope to visit there someday now that I’ve been on a couple of his tours.
