About the tour

The Schönbrunn Palace Park is worth a visit at any time of the year. Whether in spring, summer, autumn, or winter, it always presents itself in all its beauty! Let's explore it together on this walk! Where the Habsburgs once hunted and walked, or enjoyed a cool breeze in the shade of the trees, where marriages were initiated and the history of Europe was written, we want to look around and Maria Theresia and her family will accompany us in numerous stories (and perhaps also envy us for our comfortable clothes)! And while we take a leisurely stroll through the family history of the Habsburgs, we might even hear the wolves howling in the neighboring zoo.

Meet Vienna with Claudia

Vienna with Claudia

Claudia was born and raised in a city that is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. In Vienna you actually stumble upon a museum, palace, theatre or coffee house on almost every corner. Karl Kraus, a famous Austrian writer, once said:” The streets of Vienna are paved with culture, the streets of other cities with asphalt.” You can often see Claudia in these very streets of Vienna, mostly with guests from all over the world, showing them the most beautiful and interesting neighbourhoods of her hometown with knowledge, enthusiasm, esprit and- her cell phone ! Sometimes she wanders the streets alone to discover new things and prepare new exciting tours for her guests. She loves the idea of virtual guiding a lot, to connect with people from so many countries and she really enjoys sharing the stories and her love for her hometown with all virtual travellers who want to feel the real spirit of this magical city.

Claudia is in my top three tour guides (maybe #1) along with Ian and Pegus. She is so thorough and knowledgeable, and the tempo is just right. This was my 2.5 tour with her. I have to repeat Neubau because we didn't have any sound for the first half. I'll be watching for any others that she does as well. Thanks, Claudia! (not sure if my message disappeared or just left the screen.)
