In this food show, we will teach you some of the most famous Peruvian recipes and the ones that are not so famous as well, cooking for you from a Limenian kitchen, teaching you about the ingredients, techniques, tricks, our grandma’s secrets, and more. Learn to cook perfectly: quinoa, rice, potatoes, lentils, beans, fish, chicken and more like a true expert in the local style, easy and from the comfort of your home, each class is a surprise! Grab a pen, paper and discover with us the magic behind the Peruvian kitchen.

Vanessa

Vanessa is a professional tour guide and ambassador of her city since 2006, and a virtual tour guide since 2020. With over 15 years of experience guiding is still her passion and delivering a great service in every tour is her compromise with you. Take a virtual experience of Lima with her and be surprised by a city with more than 2000 years of history, impressive architecture, one of the best cuisines in the world, warm people, and have a unique and unforgettable experience with a cultural ambassador born and raced in the capital of Perú.


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Lima with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Lima. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.


Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Thoroughly enjoyed Vanessa and her brother Luis cooking it’s so easily understood and showing each part step by step. Looked delicious Luis really likes to arrange the food so we’ll to show it off at its best. I LOVE her enthusiasm. So welcoming and happy to see you join in on her tours. Love the bro-sis relationship with her and her baby brother-Luis He is quite knowledgeable as well- giving good tips and all; like about the heart of an onion- remove it if you want nice even slices...ever had I ever thought about that. PLUS- love learning the different type of chilis native to Peru and that that there are other culture who embraces to use of MSG- hahah
