"The Kabab street of Kolkata" is situated in Zakaria Street and this street is also famous for the beautiful and mighty Nakhoda Masjid (Mosque). Google says Kabab is "A dish of pieces of meat, fish or vegetables roasted or grilled on a skewer or spit". Different types of mouth-watering Kababs are available here, mainly you will get chicken and fish Kabab but in few shops, beef kabab is also served. Along with Kababs, some other authentic Mughal dishes are also served like Biriyani (flavoured rice mixed with boiled potatoes and meat pieces), Chaaps (thick gravy served with chicken or goat meat), Rezela (chicken or goat meat served in the stew) and etc. Indians love sweets a lot and the same will be available in this street also. Other than the food, this street is also famous for the local stalls of garments, household items and "Attar" which is a natural perfume!

Fascinating to see the street life in Kolkata and all the various shops and eating places. It would be nice to have a little background information about Kolkata, but Amit did a good tour. Thank you.
