About the tour

In 1963, New York City lost one of its most treasured buildings, New York Pennsylvania Station. For over 5 decades, New York welcomed visitors by train in a grand and opulent manner. The original Penn Station was demolished to make way for a new train station as well as the Madison Square Garden complex. For most New Yorkers, what succeeded the original structure has always been a bit of an eyesore...until now! Journey with us as we show you remnants of the original Penn Station, its replacement, and the brand new version, Moynihan Hall at Penn Station which promises an exciting train station of the future. If you want to see why this new station has New Yorkers excited, come join us. Climb aboard the Penn Station Express!

Aaron K. and Patrick

Aaron and Patrick both grew up on farms, but having lived in New York City for over 25 years, they consider themselves New Yorkers. Their tours are energetic and fast-paced - much like the city they love. While venturing through New York City's iconic highlights, viewers will also discover some hidden gems and learn where to find a sweet treat or the best slice of New York-style pizza. Better yet, you get to stroll through Times Square (and on New Year's eve, catch over a million partiers!) or see a stunning fireworks display from Belvedere Castle. "We have so many funny memories but here are two of our favorites. During one of our Christmas tours, we slipped on the ice in front of hundreds of Virtualtrips viewers - luckily, we were fine! On a different tour, we happened upon a person dressed as a tap-dancing fox in Washington square park. A rare sighting indeed!" Patrick laughs. Virtual trips voyagers have the opportunity to see New York from Aaron and Patrick's perspective. Their positive energy is infectious and each tour feels like a love letter to the city. Come take a bite out of The Big Apple with the NYC tour!

I really enjoyed the Pennsylvania Station tour. Since I have always traveled by Amtrak, I was wondering how they were going to let people know where to get the trains when traveling really resumes. I was amazed over how much work they did and how beautiful it has turned out. I can't wait until they are fully finished with the restaurants up and working. NYC has long awaited this "do over". I want to say that I love tours with Aaron and Patrick. You two are so much fun, and so knowledgeable of your points of interest. I always look for your tours, but sometimes I can't make the time you are doing it. But, Heygo is a great company and I'm so glad you two are on board with them! Looking forward to the next time I can be on a tour with you two!!!

Aaron and Patrick present a splendid combination of detailed historical and architectural information with a joyful camaraderie. This Dynamic Duo is welcoming, fun, and very well-prepared for each tour. They know how to connect with viewers via this remote platform, which is not an easy task. It is a joy to spend time in their company. Thank you 🌸
