When people think of the Cotswolds they think of quintessentially English villages - and Bourton-on-the-Water is about as quintessentially English as it gets! The shallow River Windrush wends its way through the heart of the village, crossed by a series of open stone bridges and lined by historic golden buildings. On our stroll, we will have some great postcard opportunities along the idyllic riverbank, as well as seeing the craft shops and tea rooms the village is famous for and learning about one of the most bizarre sporting spectacles in England - and that is saying something! Always one of the most popular destinations in the Cotswolds, join me on this tour to find out why!

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Cotswolds with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing guide.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Cotswolds. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the guide’s hard work, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

An interesting tour through this typical village with enlightening historical information. The picture quality was not so good- this might be due to the rainy weather, but I had tours before where the sight w as good despite the weather.

Lovely walk in the rain/hail...to a place I enjoyed visiting a few years ago. Brought back great memories and a longing to go back. The style of your commentary is great. Good stories making the local history interest always is an asset but the good natured pace and ability to adjust to your audience’s questions is great. Keep more tours coming....Thanks
