About the tour

Join me on a quest as we seek out truth from legend on this stunning tour in the upper reaches of Glen Coe, known as the "Glen of Weeping". Immersed in lichen-clad woodland, we will explore pagan rituals and follow the footsteps of the Fiery Cross at Signal Rock before descending down to the mighty River Coe as it crashes towards the sea! Along the way we will catch spectacular views of towering mountains, hear beautiful bird song and learn about the geology that created this mountain haven, and the people who have shaped and changed it to what we see, hear and feel today.

Meet Craig

Craig lives in Ballachulish, on the west coast of Scotland. He can be found exploring the mountains and glens, hill walking or mountain biking. He loves Scotland’s wild places, its rugged coastlines and soaring peaks. But his real passion lies in the long, intricate and often bloody history for which Scotland is famous and he loves nothing more than sharing this passion with all who join him on his travels. Loaded with stories – both humorous and fascinating – a tour with Craig is both rewarding and fun.

What to expect

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

So happy to catch one of Craig's tours again! His knowledge of this beautiful place enhanced the tour. The greenery, the flora was beautiful. He shared history and folktales that added another layer to this tour. Fun tour!

This is my second tour with Craig. It was a brilliant combination of a ramble in scenic highlands and a storyteller who can weave a tale like no other. I almost forgot to take postcards I was so wrapped up in his words. Absolutely a guide you have to experience at least once. And once you do that first tour you will be hooked!
