In our bid to promote inclusivity in the community and in all aspects of life including jobs i.e. tourism, we invite you to join this tour so that we learn more about how Deaf people in Uganda live a daily life, what kind of businesses they do, what they think of the current developments in the world especially in their country Uganda. We will learn more about the challenges they face in daily life, what they do for fun (sports, music, dance, and drama..etc), and how Infinity Ideas Network Organisation is helping this community. We will visit their workplaces, church, home and get to learn more about how they survive in the capital city of Uganda. So if you want to learn how another community lives in a different part of the world, this is the tour for you. Don't miss out on any scheduled date. Noah will lead this tour. See you soon!
At Infinity Ideas Network, we envision to create and make available equal job opportunities for Deaf and Disabled young people for their sustainable social and economic standards of living. WHY DEAF? In Uganda, they are among the most stigmatized people who often live in isolation and are excluded with from their communities, from the education system, healthcare and other vital services. Most times they are hidden away by their families as they consider this as a bad omen. If you would like to contact us then please feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Kampala with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Kampala. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.
