When you ask someone the tricky question, “What’s the Cathedral of Rome?” the answer is always surprising, “Saint Peter Church”. Wrong! We’ll show you the highest and most important of the four papal major basilicas, the Saint John Lateran, also known as the Cathedral of Rome. But records are not over in this area; right next to it, we’ll see the largest standing ancient Egyptian obelisk in the world, we’ll approach the famous Holy Stairs where, according to tradition, Jesus climbed for his trial during his Passion, and finally we’ll take a glimpse at the statue dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi. A thrilling holy path that you won’t want to miss!
