About the tour

Did you know Porto's settlement started on the top of the hill? Where the city used to be fortified? And that for almost three centuries the city belonged to the powerful catholic Bishops? Get your good walking shoes and come along with me, from the 12th century ronanesque Cathedral, ancient stronghold, all the way downwards the river Douro. Let's discover, nice and slowly, the narrow and steep granite medieval streets of this mytical old neighborhood: Sé. A place where history pops out in every corner and the soul of our ancestors is displayed in the pitoresque details of each single street.

Beautiful postcards 💞 the perfect light and sound (for me the best sound system among all on guides in this platform). The interaction with Mrs Firnanda was hilarious. Fantastic tour guide with a fantastic english, very knowledgeable and polite approach with the viewers. I like Sara's tours very much 👍. Thank you Sara ❤️

So nice to see the city again, the river, the houses, the churchs, the beautiful rooftops, and learn so much about the country, with one if the best HeyGo guides.
