For centuries men have used the local soil to make the mud bricks here and built the houses with these brick. The houses can be built as fast as a tent and are prefect shelter for the local temperature which is about 30-42 degrees in summer and -2 - 20 degrees in winter. People still leave in these beehive shaped houses as they keep their temperature about 20 C all year around so they are cool in the summer and warm for the winter.

Such problems the extreme heat 40 - 45 c caused for Salih today, but he would not be denied from continuing his tour despite having to dive for shadow where any existed to give us as much connectivity as he could. And we saw such amazing 'architecture' of beehived domed dwellings still in use, in those harsh conditions. Definitely an eye opener. Back to cooler climes today - see you there Salih!

This is my second time watching Sahil melt in crazy hot weather hot enough to shut down his equipment. But he persevered and I saw houses I’ve never seen before. Great guide
