"Unity Makes Strength" is the slogan written on the facade of the National Assembly of Bulgaria. It has been there since the liberation of the country from Ottoman Rule back at the end of the 19th century. And it does stand in a ring of strength formed together with the Sofia University of St. Kliment Ohridski and the cathedral Saint Alexander Nevski. Possibly also the National Library or the Gallery of Arts. We can discuss what strength is to a nation while we go and see these Bulgarian symbols in the very heart of our capital. Something I never paid attention to while I was studying at the Sofia University myself and was busy doing student’s things. Now, however, we have a chance to pay attention together.

Simana is an excellent tour guide! She is knowledgeable, patient and brings the history of your beautiful city to life. She was calm and pleasant during the storm. I took her previous tour. How can I follow her?

Simana is so knowledgeable, so smart, so enthusiastic, and she walked around buildings to give us different views, and is always aware that we're trying to take good postcards of places. She says she's a beginning, but she is obviously skilled as a tour guide. I highly recommend her tours. I just went on two of them , one after the other. I hope she does more tours off Bulgaria.
