About the tour

Meet me at one of the largest archeological sites in Puglia, Manduria. This Messapic town is surrounded by the remains of a megalithic wall build between the III and V century B. C. Outside of the walls we can admire more than a thousand tombs which where only discovered in the 1955 for the very first time. Inside of the walls a very unique ancient well hidden away in a large cave and an almond tree symbol of the town of Manduria. The tour will end at one of the oldest winery and culture museum a very short ride away, there will learn about Primitivo di Manduria and other wines, now well known all over the world. Manduria is Antimo's birth place and where his family lives, this is literally his playground and backyard.

My computer audio was really crazy today so I missed a lot of the explanation, but what I did hear and see was wonderful! Loved the guides!
