Walk with me around this magnificent town from a past too ancient to even fathom. The origin on Polignano a Mare is associated to the Neolithic Age or the 5th century B.C. Because of its strategic position on the Adriatic Sea it became an important stop for freight traffic with Romans in the 3rd century B.C. as they were building the ancient street that connected Rome to Brindisi. The Normans ruled in this town till 1194 and the Aragonese followed during which commercial activities flourished between Venice and the south. Nowadays Polignano has flourished thanks to tourism and agriculture. The incredible coast and large number or marine caves attract thousands of tourist from all over the globe each month. One of the most famous caves and world renowned restaurant is Grotta Palazzese cave. The old town is incredibly charming with many tiny streets, piazzas, and beautiful balconies from where you can admire the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Antimo is Italian and speaks six languages fluently, he is a chef and a wellness buff among other things. While on a virtual tour with Antimo you might be lead into a wonderful mediation!
