About the tour

When we talk about India, one of the things which India is really famous for is its flavourful and diverse food. Often we have misconceptions about Indian cooking and food like it is really time consuming and difficult, requires a lot of different ingredients, can't be done on your own and is very hot. We will be learning one of the most famous and delicious delicacies, Shahi Paneer along with an Indian Bread which would make you forget the restaurants.. Through this tour, your host would be changing lot of perceptions about Indian cooking, India in general and you will be learning how to cook real authentic Indian food from your own home as you follow along step by step together. Here are the ingredients which you will require for the cooking tour: For making Shahi Paneer : 250 gm Paneer( cottage cheese)/Tofu 2 medium sized onions 4 small sized tomatoes 8-10 cashew nuts Ginger, Garlic( optional) 1 green chilli Green cardamom Spices, Salt, red chilli powder, dry coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds Honey Cream ( Any kind, coconut, milk, etc) Oil ( Any Kind) Butter Kindly slice the onions and tomatoes before if you wish to cook along. We would require a mixer grinder in the process as well. For making bread Wheat flour Oil( Any Kind) Water Roller Your host for this tour, Komal would be there to spread the flavours and aromas of Indian food and spices into your kitchen and change your perceptions through her easy to follow recipes.

She is a lively and instructive host, going step by step through the food preparation. I wish we could smell it! She's reassuring that Indian cooking doesn't need to be hard.
