About the tour

This tour will give you a taste of the Liberties area of Dublin City. We will discover why the area was known as the Golden Triangle. The area was awash with Whiskey Distilleries in the 18th and 19th centuries. We will also talk about the most famous brewery in the world: Guinness.

This was delightful and done at a pleasurable pace. I loved how Jimmy interacted with those who he encountered, including the fellow who was holding a freshly poured pint of Guinness. It seems that churches and pubs go hand in hand and I enjoyed seeing the stunning church inside. Perhaps he can arrange to have a bar tender pouring the beer in the particular method they use and Jimmy could toast it with us. Excellent tour.

Jimmy offers a look at different areas of Dublin, sharing the rich history of storied buildings and ancient streets. One day I will visit Ireland; thank you, Jimmy, for the inspiration! Kate in Toronto
