About the tour

Join me on a tour exploring Belfast's historic Clarendon Dock and get up close to the oldest Dry Docks in Ireland, I will also explore the once vibrant and busy Sailortown a residential area once home to the many 'Dockers' whose job it was to manually load and unload ships from all over the world before containerisation took over. You will hear stories of some of the larger than life characters, see some of the remaining built heritage and hear stories of comradeship, devotion, tragedy and endurance that characterised the people of Sailortown.

What a fantastic tour Donal gave us of Sailortown in Belfast. I have been to this great city hundreds of times, but knew nothing about this area of the docklands. Donal is a great guide and I would highly recommend his tours
