About the tour

Indubitably, this is one of the most beautiful churches of Saint Petersburg and among the most photographed, as well. Would you like to know why the church has this name? Whose blood was spilled on this spot and why? Why does this church look so much like St.Basil Cathedral in Moscow? Would you like to go inside the church to see its fascinating interiors? To get answers to all these questions, just join Anna's virtual tour. She's itching to share with you the story of a bloodshed and political turmoils in Russia at the turn of the 20th Century and the Soviet times.

Mind blowing: what an interesting tour and Anna shared her incredible knowledge so well. She has additional pictures on her phone to supplement her narrative, which makes it more interesting. Especially if you can put a face to a name, you are more likely to remember it; as the history of Russia is new to many people. Thank you, Anna.
