About the tour

Have you ever heard about Gregory peck and Audrey Hepburn filming a movie called Roman holidays? Can you remember them eating a gelato at the Spanish steps? Probably the most popular staircase in all over the world. With this tour we will start the visit of the Spanish steps, we will see the house of the two British poets Keats and Shelly, the old tea rome owned by a British lady, the Babington tea room since 1893. Then we will see the church of trinity of the mountains with the fountain of ugly boat, right in front the via dei condotti,the Italian fashion designer streeet! We will see Armani Gucci and Prada shop then taking the Babuinos road we will see the ancient Roman statue called babbuino that gave the name to the street to end in Piazza del popolo a jewel of the neoclassical style!


Meet Sara Verde

Sara Verde

Sara is a roman native, traveller, dreamer, addicted to painting and fascinated by all expressions of art. She is a licensed tour guide of Rome and the Vatican, speaks fluent English, French and Spanish and at school also learnt some German! Not only does Sara love languages but foreign cultures and traditions too. She graduated with a degree in foreign languages at the "Roma Tre" University and after finishing she started to travel to many countries to improve her knowledge, accent and professional skills. She loves her career as a guide and finds it incredibly interesting. She has worked for several cruise tour operators such as royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity cruises, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Riviera. In 2011 she embarked on a new and exciting experience guiding students in cooperation with Palazzi-Florence association for International Education and EF students. Sara knows her city like the back of her hand and can't wait to show you around!


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Rome with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Rome. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.


Why are they tip-supported?
