About the tour

We will set off the tour from Horseshoe Bay - This truly is a postcard tour! What this beach is most famous for is its pastel-pink sand. Colored by crushed sea creatures and shells, this southern Bermuda beach is a photographer's utopia. When we set foot on Southampton's Horseshoe Bay Beach, you'll realise why it's Bermuda's most celebrated stretch of shoreline. USA Today named Horseshoe Bay one of the Caribbean’s top 10 beaches (even though Bermuda isn’t technically in the Caribbean). The long, sweeping crescent of pink sand is punctuated by rocky outcroppings and lapped by azure waves. The nearby Beach House offers snacks, rentals and changing facilities. Horseshoe Bay Beach is absolutely Bermuda's # 1 beach for locals and visitors. At the very western end of the beach is a very sheltered section, nicknamed The Baby Beach - a favourite for families with small children. At the eastern end of Horseshoe Bay we pass into Warwick Parish... Warwick Parish features some of the island's most spectacular beaches. In between Horseshoe Bay & Warwick Long Bay are several small coves. With its half-mile (0.8 km) stretch of sand, Warwick Long Bay ranks as the island's longest beach. It's set against a backdrop of scrubland and coastal grasses. Just offshore, a jagged coral island floats above the water, making this an excellent area to snorkel. Just to the west of Warwick Long Bay, tiny Jobson's Cove is one of the island's most visually stunning beaches – here, steep, jagged rocks crash into a sheltered inlet. It's a serene zone to just listen to the waves lap at the pink sand and stick your feet in the calm, stunningly clear waters. Jobson's Cove is favourite location for weddings in Bermuda.

Meet Tony Brannon

Tony Brannon

I was raised in the entertainment world by my father Terry, who opened Bermuda's 1st International nightclub the 40 Thieves Club in 1962. Everyone from Mel Torme, Neil Diamond, The Shirelles, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Aretha Franklin, Ike & Tina Turner, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black, Tom Jones and dozens more performed at the 40. In 1970/1971 I was assistant to the tour manager on the Tom Jones US tour. In 1978 I built Bermuda's 1st disco - Disco 40. I have produced entertainment in Bermuda for over 40 years and created the Lennon Bermuda Peace Day Concerts. Artists I brought to Bermuda include: Nils Lofgren, Paul Carrack, Paul Young, Hiram Bullock, John Sebastian, Billy Preston, Jeff Golub, Roger McGuinn, Judie Tzuke, Squeeze, Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Biggie Irie, Splashband, Spice & Co, Tony O'Malley, Jimmy Keys, Peaches & Herb, Gary US Bonds, The Fab Faux, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Turrentine, The Hamish Stuart Band, Jamie Lawson. If I could describe myself in only one sentence, that would be... MUSIC IS MY LIFE. Besides being my livelihood, music has been, through all these years, my inspiration, my joy, my solace in times of trouble, and my compass when I've lost my direction. Music gives me energy and purpose, adds meaning to my actions and always brings a ray of sun that guides me through the darkest night.
