Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Elizabeth then grew up in Israel and later in Toronto, Canada, where she studied literature and philosophy at York University. Her adventurous spirit landed her in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she pursued a career growing organic produce and culinary herbs for markets and restaurants. Canada had made a lasting impression on Elizabeth and so in 2010 she decided to return and take up residence in Victoria on Vancouver Island. Enthralled by the enchanting parks, Victorian homes, waterways and mystic forests that make up this stunning garden city, Elizabeth delved deeply into the rich history that surrounds Victoria and its outlying areas, learning the stories of the gold rush and the indigenous peoples who live in this land. Elizabeth followed her heart and became a tour guide, exploring amazing places rich with culture, nature and wildlife and founded EV Tours, a tour guide service of private tours on Vancouver Island. On her walking tours on HeyGo, whilst traversing a wildflower field or following a deep forest path, she relates a variety of topics that pique the mind and inspire the soul, touching on such subjects as the island's geology, mind bending historical past, culture and its rich horticulture tradition. Come along with Elizabeth in this renowned Canadian, Pacific North West destination for an exciting and new experience that will expand your knowledge, enrich your spirit and be just plain fun.
