About the tour

Florence features many layers of architecture and art in plain view. Problem is: how to make heads or tails of it all. Come with me on a walk of discovery. Together we will view famous works of early Renaissance architecture and sculpture. We'll also talk about the major actors, both artists and patrons, of this fantastic period in the history of art.

Love your tours . Just like being there . Have been to Florence twice a year and miss it so Wondering if you would consider a tour outside of the Renaissance theme . Maybe take us to palazzo Strozi for the Kooning exhibition, or to the top of Baboli gardens , where the ceramic museum is and the rose garden with fantastic view of Florence, followed by the Belvedere with more wonderful views and exiting sculpture installations , and to lesser known but great places in Florence on the other side of the Arno , like the santo Spirito , with the church that has the Michelangelo Jesus and wonderful artisanal shops
