About the tour

This tour is a beautiful cruise designed to see the hundreds of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment at Duiker Island, right at the foot of the spectacular Sentinel Mountain. It will also be possible to see the scenery featured along the rugged coastline from Hout Bay harbor, the breathtaking views of the panoramic drive Chapman’s Peak Drive, and the Sentinel Mountain. Should the sea be, calm enough the tour continues below the Kabonkelberg mountain range to Moari Bay, known for its shipwreck? VERY IMPORTANT NOTES: - advisable for kids - this trip is weather and sea conditions depending so it may be subject to a last-minute cancellation - while seal island is enclosed in a bay, the shipwreck is in the open sea; therefore, it will only be possible to see it if the sea is not navigable - the tour is conducted with a DJI Osmo stabilizer; however, sometimes, it could happen that due to the violence of some waves, the picture may get a bit shaken - being at sea, on some occasions, the wind may be rough and cover the voice, despite the usage of a dead cat or wind muff - The signal has been tested, and it works very well, however being out at sea, it is sometimes possible to temporarily lose the signal - This tour is only on weekends as due to Covid the daily trips have been canceled

Enjoyable and fun tour with a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide. The connection was variable but that added to the live experience.

A wonderful tour by boat to see the seals & the shipwreck. Antonio handled the rough conditions well with gimbal & keeping his balance as well & I felt like I was there on the boat as well. Beautiful scenery & I look forward to more tours in the future.
