In this one-of-a-kind tour Micky and Adry will show you Rome through its famous films sets. Stories, anecdotes, film clips/photos (when possible), and original sets will be the protagonists of this peculiar tour. We’ll see how the most beautiful monuments of the Eternal City have been the special background for some of the most famous films ever realised. On this particular tour (Part 2) we’ll talk about: La Dolce Vita (Trevi Fountain), The Talented Mr. Ripley (Spanish Steps), Roman Holiday (Spanish Steps), Angels & Demons (Piazza del Popolo), and some others too. For a more complete experience we also suggest to book Part 1 of the same tour. Attention: this won’t be a historical tour of the monuments that we’ll see on the way, instead one focused mainly on the movie sets.
Adriano is an English and Spanish teacher and has Italian/Argentine heritage. He has been a TV host for a cooking show and he's an actor as well. Michela is a dancer/choreographer, singer and performer. She is also a craft projects ninja and she comes from a family of opera singers. Longstanding friends for 20 years now, the pair met at high school and have shared a love for languages and travel ever since! They are looking forward to welcoming you to Rome and showing you not only the sights but what it's like to be a local in this fabulous city!
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Rome with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Rome. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.
