About the tour

The amazing Exhibition of Renaissance Plates and Vases is located in the Medieval Logge dei Tiratori, the ancient Workshop of the Wool Carders situated at the Bottom of the Old Town of Gubbio. Learn more about the Golden Lustrous with its Iridescent Colors and the Istoriata, Plates decorated with Scenes from the Mythology produced in the Dukedom of Urbino, Birthplace of Raphaël and discover how the Great artist influenced the Ceramic Ware in the XVI Century.

Born in France, Anne Claire studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Metz before deciding to follow the lure of Italy and moving to Perugia in Umbria which became her new homeland. As a licensed guide she loves sharing her passion for Art History with guests from all over the world.

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
