About the tour

Qianmen Street is a famous commercial street (Hutong) in Beijing, but it is unique from others. The street was built in the Ming Dynasty and still maintains its 16th century charm. Follow our guide to explore modern shops living in traditional Ming architectural buildings, as well as time-honored local brands, such as Quanjude Roast Duck restaurant, Guanghelou historic theater, tea shops, crafts, etc. You will go back in time as you will also hear many interesting stories behind the modern facades. Our guide will also explore hidden attractions that are not seen in tourism books and will provide you a unique vivid live streaming experience. The main street is 845 meters long and the carriageway is 20 meters wide. In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, it was a flourishing commercial street. Join us for a visit starting over 500 years ago and the evolution to the locals daily life behind these shops.
