About the tour

Follow Paul and Nathalie for a special journey through Edinburgh as they discover the women who made the city so special. Also on this tour will be Zakia the CEO (Big Boss) of Invisible Cities who like Nathalie is French. Edinburgh is also the Festival City right now and this tour will absorb the atmosphere of the ancient Royal Mile area of Edinburgh. Nathalie the amazing guide from London is visiting Edinburgh and she couldn’t resist the chance to meet up with Paul from Invisible Cities and collaborate together. Nathalie is actually a stand up comedian and I love a laugh, so please join us for what should be a fun, fact filled tour about some amazing women of Edinburgh.

Meet Invisible Cities - Paul

Invisible Cities - Paul

Paul is Invisible Cities's first tour guide to offer tours on Heygo. An Edinburgh local himself, he is passionate about making people discover his city in a unique way. He is also a mentor to other local guides helping people who have experienced homelessness become walking tour guides of their own city. Invisible Cities is a multi-award-winning social enterprise that trains people who have been affected by homelessness to become walking tour guides of their own city. With walking tours in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and York, they give people a voice and opportunities to thrive within the tourism sector. Each of their guides are passionate about their city and want the world to discover all the gems and unknown stories that make them so special. The not for profit supports people with training, skill development but also access to wider professional and educational opportunities and organises events in their local communities to support the most disadvantaged people. Paul, is one of Invisible Cities' guides based in Edinburgh.

Paul and Nathalie are a fierce combination- their humour and sense of tour provided a fabulous hour! Loved seeing the Royal Mile and hearing of the women who left an indelible mark upon this lovely city.
