On this tour we will explore the riverside area of Porto known as Ribeira - heart of the UNESCO world heritage site. Here arrived boats with goods of different colours and smells, making this the liveliest part of the city. Here mothers washed their clothes in the river while their children swam in it. Here lived and still do the original "portuenses". Let me explain to you why we are known as "tripeiros" (tripe eaters) and share with you few more of our peculiar yet delicious dishes. If you want to understand the real Porto and its people you will not want to miss this tour. (Include sights as the XIV century customs building, "alminhas" - memorial of the french invasions, the Eiffel bridge - Maria Pia and many more).
Claudia was born in Porto and in love with it ever since. Because she was raised up there she knows Porto's streets as the palm of her hand. In 2003 Claudia finished her degree in tour guiding and got her licence that same year. She has a short masters in wine and loves to try and discover new Portuguese wine always (of course!) along with the unique local gastronomy. Come and join her walking up and down the streets of steep Porto and be mesmerized by its beauty.
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Porto with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

Very beautiful place, wished I could have seen more of the pretty houses and less of the quaint dark streets, but overall a pretty tour and friendly tourist guide.
