About the tour

Perú is know as the land of the Incas, and Lima, as one of the culinary capitals of the world. In this series of cooking classes you will learn the history behind the most important Peruvian dishes and the secrets to prepare them, guided by two locals (my husband and me) from our kitchen. Would you like to Surprise your friends and family with something original, made by you and 100% Peruvian for lunch or dinner?... let’s start! If you want to cook with me you will need to have the following ingredients: Peruvian ceviche 2 servings 250 gr ocean white fish filets (corvina, sole fish, maji maji, flounder , would work) avoid river fish , no dark skin fish. 1 red onions 6 key limes (or Brazilian limes or alike) 1 hot chili 1 red hot pepper (optional) 2 boiled sweet potatoes 1 boiled Corns 2 leaves of lettuce Cilantro Salt to the taste Peruvian Pisco Sour 2 servings Peruvian Pisco (you can use as an alternative not flavored vodka) 4 Key limes 6 Ice cubes 2 eggs Bitters (angostura bitters) Simple sugar sirope Also Shaker or blender Two whiskey glass Enjoy! Note: ceviche is not a vegetarian option, although you can adapt this to vegetarians using mushrooms.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Lima with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Lima. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.


Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

sweet lovable family who are well organized in their presentation -- a really nice experience. We drank pisco sours in Argentina, came back home and made t hem for friends - no one had ever heard of them - but pisco was hard to find here where we live.
