This may be my second review as I am not sure if first was submitted. EXCELLENT as always the hour with Anne Claire. So wonderful to see the artisans at work and walk through the weaving process. I am a former weaver ( as a hobby) so was a good feeling to review it all. The unique history of the area and the beginning of the weaving in the area was good to hear. Keep those wonderful tours coming to us please. Love ‘meeting’ the local people too! Commentary is clear and presented exceptionally well!

I’ve been on several tours with Anne Claire and they have always been so interesting and informative. It’s always a pleasure to be greeted by her happy smiles when I join a tour.

Anne Claire’s visit to the tapestry church was brilliant. Seeing the demonstrations, meeting the craft women and being able to admire the magnificent works of art made the tour most memorable. Ann is a wealth of information and being so responsive to viewers’ requests, made it possible to snapshot the tapestries close up, even being able to see the complexity of the threads and patterns. Thank you Anne. I’ll recommend your tour to friends and on FB.

Come and see the beautiful traditional weaving! This was my second try at this tour, as I was interrupted the first time. So pleased it ran again. Anne Claire takes us round an artisan weaving workshop in a converted church. Both Anne Claire and the all-female team of expert weavers are extremely personable and informative. Still not sure I understand exactly how it works, but it has prompted me to learn more. And the finished products are so beautiful you might find yourself wanting to place an order (international shipping is available).
