About the tour

On our second leg of this tour, we'll feature more historic and beautiful buildings and share lots of history. We'll be walking west from the Trump Hotel (built in 1899 as the Old Post Office Pavilion) and we'll conclude our tour by the W Hotel, previously called the Hotel Washington. Along the way, we'll see Freedom Plaza, named in 1980 after a line in Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, we'll see the gorgeous Willard Hotel, Washington's city hall, an important site for the Marriott Hotel empire, and the under-construction World War I memorial. Due to Covid-19 and security restrictions, we cannot go to the White House area - neither the north nor south lawn is open at this time.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to book and join, but you have the option to tip the guide during the tour.

Leaving a tip will help support the guides and allow us to offer tours in more places around the world. If you aren't able to leave a tip, then it would be great if you can share the tour with friends and family to spread the word.
