About the tour

Join me for a multi-part tour walking along this beautiful street. Designated when the city was created in the 1790s, Pennsylvania Avenue connects the Capitol and the White House. We'll start at the US Navy Memorial where you can see the world's largest map. Then we'll have a wonderful view across the street at the National Archives, where the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and US Constitution are stored and on display then walk west to see some beautiful and impressive buildings - government and private alike. We'll end this part of the tour outside Ford's Theatre, where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14, 1865. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to approach the Capitol or White House and this will be an outdoors-only tour.

Terry was friendly and had rapport with the group. Unfortunately I cannot give much of a review because I had internet problems and the connection kept breaking

Unfortunately during half time of the tour the connection was poor - including video and sound. Something interrupted. Maybe the fault was on my side. Fortunately I could see beautiful Ford's Theatre and take a lot of photos of places around it as well. Terry, thank you very much!
