About the tour

I would like to tell you the story of the accomplished, but commoner, Incan general who fell in love with the princess, daughter of the Incan Emporer Pachacutec. Find out what happened to them when we visit the sacred Incan site of Ollantaytambo, named after the general, in the Sacred Valley near Cusco Peru. Let’s take a walk around the spectacular stone structure where massive terraces climb to the peak. The elaborate walled complex contained a temple to the sun, used for astronomical observation so Ollantaytambo existed for more than just defensive purposes. I’ll tell you what I know as we discover together this impressive Incan construction with perfectly carved terraces in mountain setting.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for these amazing tours. With how hard the past year has been, I won't be able to afford any major travel for a while, but you make these tours so personable and share so much information, I feel like I am right there!
