About the tour

Forget about modern shiny shopping malls with trendy brands and air conditioned floors. After all these centuries, despite of all changes in life style, Bazaar has kept it's own place and attraction for people. Long roofed corridors, traditional atmosphere and domed ceiling, passing by shops with colorful cloths, strong aroma spices, jewel shops. A chance to see Caravansary of 18th century now a center for handicrafts. A place where, is still alive. Located in historical part of Shiraz and we will pass by old buildings and residence of the king rolling in 18th century.

Farzaneh was a wonderful guide. She really made us feel that we were there with her and we loved her explanations of the culture and sights of Shiraz. I want to go to Shiraz more than ever now.

Farzaneh took us round the bazaar in Shiraz and we walked through the streets to get there first, so we got a feel for the town and the people walking around. She showed us spices, fabrics, copper enamelware, Persian carpets and jewellery. It was very enjoyable and a real insight to life in Shiraz.

She is clearly a very nice person, and it would be a pleasure to have her as a guide on the spot. We used to live and work in Shiraz, and so any more impressions from us about this tour will not be typical or fair. It was a great pleasure to be back!
