About the tour

In part 2 of the wall walk we continue on the south side of the wall with beautiful views of the sea and life inside the town. As we go you can see the way of life of citizens of the old town, beautiful cliffs and really get to see the town from another perspective. Enjoy the view of the new parts of the town outside of the wall, listen the stories about Lokrum island, Richard the Lion heart and take photos of stunning scenery. With this tour we will do the full circle of Dubrovnik town wall and tell stories about some buildings you can see on the history tour.

Meet Nikola

Nikola has been a full-time tour guide since 2006, straight out of school and college. Sports - particularly basketball - are a big part of his life. He enjoys playing a good game of water polo, one of Dubrovnik’s popular sports. His tours offer interesting tidbits and fun stories that amuse travelers. “We may say that Dubrovnik invented the word Quarantine, as this was the first town where someone had to wait for 40 days (Quaranta in Italian is 40) in a designated area before they were allowed to enter!” he says. Living in both a very touristic country and a famous sports country means he has the best of both worlds! He's truly a 'people person.’ He enjoys interacting with people from different parts of the world every day and traveling for business. Introducing you to some delicious food and drinks, and seeing the smile on your face at the end of the tour is something he’s looking forward to!

Sorry, but I found it disappointing. And yes, I have visited Dubrovnik several times, as I love the city and was hoping for some more insight.

Nikola was an excellent guide. We enjoyed his tour very much. He gave us a very interesting overview of the area of this lovely city, of which he is clearly very proud and knowledgable. We hope that tourism will soon be able to flourish and enable live tours for him. But being able to explore a city in this was is such a pleasure. Thank you.
