About the tour

In addition to the spectacular waterfalls, Niagara Falls, Canada offers almost every conceivable type of tourist attraction you may crave. There are fun and interesting indoor and outdoor activities for everyone, such as museums, wineries, theme parks and even horse racing to name a few. We’ll start our tour by strolling down Niagara Falls’ outrageous “Street of Fun”, lit up at night like the Las Vegas strip (currently COVID diminished). Here you’ll find many colourful ways to empty your wallet! In addition to the interesting attractions offered on Clifton Street, I’ll share many of the other adventures you can have in Niagara Falls. From there we’ll saunter over to the dazzling American and Canadian falls to see their fabulous light displays and I’ll introduce you to the multitude of ways to enjoy the Falls from towers, tunnels, ships, and boardwalks. I’ll also share some stories highlighting the long history of daredevils who launch themselves over the falls in various contraptions including barrels, tightropes, and even a large rubber ball. You’ll learn that in the battle of man vs. nature at Niagara Falls, the results are mixed. Please join me for this fun tour of Niagara Falls, Canada after the sun goes down.

Meet neil

Neil is new to guiding, but was bitten by the travel bug early in life and has had travel fever ever since. He grew up in Southern Ontario and knows it well, but he has also explored most corners of Canada’s provinces and territories and six out of seven continents. He especially loves getting off the beaten path and discovering the unusual. Neil genuinely enjoys sharing the special places and events that make Southern Ontario and Canada such fantastic places to live or visit. As a photographer, Neil gets most inspired when travelling and uses his photographer’s eye to highlight the beauty of Southern Ontario, Canada for Heygo Voyagers. Skating and cycling tours may even be in the mix. Travel transforms us, especially international travel. We learn and grow, we gain empathy and tolerance. We develop a greater appreciation for the new and the old, and we reap new insights into ourselves, others we meet, and the world. Let’s explore together!

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Niagara Falls with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Niagara Falls. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

There were two tours. First focused on facts second on color. There was horrid reception on first. Took postcards but couldn't really hear complete sentence. Not guides fault at all but more time but I think he was so frustrated that content got lost took photos but could have used more time at each spot. I did go to second just to get a few color pix but had it muted and kept thinking how these two tours should be combined
