About the tour

Get ready to take a game drive with Mufasa starting at the rim of the only unbroken Caldera in the World then descending down to the crater floor of the Ngorongoro Crater which is in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority in Tanzania. Enjoy the sunrise (or sunset) while viewing the scenery in largest unbroken caldera in the world. We will be looking for zebras, lions, wildebeests, big big elephants and many other animals in this natural wildlife arena. If we're lucky we may even see one of the endangered species black rhino at this UNESCO World Heritage Site!!

Meet Mufasa

Bahati is an excellent guide in Tanzania - he sends us to amazing places for the experiences of a lifetime - whether it be visiting a Massai Village in the bush, seeing amazing history in Zanzibar including hand carved doorways, beautiful scents and colors of the spice market on the ""Spice Island"", swimming with the dolphins and finishing with a local fresh caught fish and chips dinner... He is the master at finding wildlife in the Ngorogoro Crater and giving me the experience of driving the land rover through the Serengeti with the wildebeast and zebra crisscrossing the road in front of us.... he loves telling us about the birds we spot along the way and amuses with stories of the areas we are seeing. I'm looking forward to the experiences he will be adding to HeyGo/Virtual Tours!!!-- Karibu Tanzania.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Ngorongoro with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 60 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Ngorongoro. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Very late starting. Mufasa is a very pleasant guide and has a very ‘laid back’ way of delivering his tours. Mufasa did continue the tour past its finish time, which was fine if you were able to stay.
