About the tour

A river walk, tramways, funny signage, historic buildings and that is just the first part of the tour. The most important part as David tours this inner-city suburb's parks and surrounding areas is that this is a charity tour. David's share of any tips received will be donated to the Association to Benefit Children. A New York-based charity helping some of the poorest families in America. Early education, supporting mental health, community services, and accommodation are some of their services. https://www.a-b-c.org/what-we-do

Meet Davidbrisbane

Davidbrisbane

David is Brisbane born and based! He loves talking to people (in fact, often got detention at school for talking too much), loves Brisbane and wants to showcase it to people. Doing the tour with David will mean doing a tour with someone who is both easy going and interactive. It will also mean being part of the good deeds mentioned on every tour.

What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Brisbane with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Brisbane. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Why are they tip-supported?

We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.

The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.

Brings back memories of when I was there. But it was so much more crowded! Was nice to see it without crowds of people all over. And to get some history of other buildings. Thanks.

my first but not my last tour of brisbane and david love the streets and how clean and peaceful it was. love that this tied with a charity where i live the south bronx and child welfare being a teacher of special needs for over 25 years this just put an extra smile on my face. Even if there was no tour David. answer all questions thrown his way made the tour seem very interesting and educational and will try to sign up for another tour when my time can fit one of his tour thank you very much
