Seville - Mysteries of the Enchanted Tower

Mysteries of the Enchanted Tower

Alameda de Hércules, Seville, Spain
40 mins

About the tour

Hidden away within the Convent of Santa Clara (a marvel of the Spanish Renaissance), the Tower of Don Fadrique has been a source of mystery for as long as it has been standing, close to 800 years. Built by prince Fadrique of Castile, brother of King Alphonse The Wise, the Tower was rumoured to be the prince's occult workshop, where he applied the secret knowledge obtained during his years in the court of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II, nicknamed *Stupor Mundi* (The Astonishment of the World) and condemned as the Antichrist by the Pope for his strange experiments and heretical views. If you want to find out what happened to Don Fadrique and his mysterious tower, join Nicolas and immerse yourself in this fascinating world of ruthless politics and medieval alchemy!
