Let’s learn how to appreciate it even more through these two traditional recipes: Mozzarella in Carrozza and Caprese Salad. Caprese is a classic Italian salad from the island of Capri. It’s made from only a handful of fresh, juicy and creamy ingredients and couldn’t be easier to make. Discover the secrets that will make your caprese salad the talk of the town, whether that town is in Italy or on the other side of the world! And if you have never tried mozzarella in carrozza, these fritters with a fragrant shell and a filled core will please everyone thanks to their simplicity, being somewhere between eggy bread, fried slice and cheese on toast. The “in carrozza” bit means “in a carriage” and explains that the white tasty ingredient is contained in this golden crusted fried sandwich you can’t miss to try! So hop on Micky and Adry’s appetizing carriage, be ready to take notes and make your mouth water in mozzarella paradise! For the process make sure to join the tour on time since each step will be explained live. And if you wish to cook with us equip yourself with: INGREDIENTS - Mozzarella in Carrozza (for 6 pieces) - 3 slices of white bread load (150 gr. / 0.33 lb) - 125 gr. mozzarella cheese (1.5 cups / preferably of the day before) - 1 1/2 large eggs - 75 gr. breadcrumbs (3/4 cup) - 25 gr. all-purpose flour (1/3 cup) - Fine salt to taste - 250 ml. sunflower seed oil to fry (8 fl. oz.) Optional ingredients: anchovies, fresh basil, pepper, dried tomatoes. Note: consider a 30-minutes-cooling time in the fridge INGREDIENTS - Caprese Salad (2 people) - 4 round tomatoes - 200 gr. mozzarella cheese (2 cups) - Fresh basil - 1 teaspoon of dried oregano - Extra virgin olive oil to taste - Salt to taste - Pepper to taste

Micky & Adry

Adriano is an English and Spanish teacher and has Italian/Argentine heritage. He has been a TV host for a cooking show and he's an actor as well. Michela is a dancer/choreographer, singer and performer. She is also a craft projects ninja and she comes from a family of opera singers. Longstanding friends for 20 years now, the pair met at high school and have shared a love for languages and travel ever since! They are looking forward to welcoming you to Rome and showing you not only the sights but what it's like to be a local in this fabulous city!


What to expect

Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Rome with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.

The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Rome. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!

While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.

Even though it is a rather simple recipe they gave some useful hints on the caprese salad. The second recipe was a very peculiar and tasty fried sandwich with mozzarella inside. Liked both recipes and the surprise at the end
